Plumbers & Life Insurance
Plumbers life insurance can often be accepted at standard terms with many insurers. There are some things that can mean that this changes.
To check your life insurance options our advisers will ask you:
- Do you work at heights?
- Do you work in the UK or do you work abroad?
Most plumbers should be able to get normal premiums for life insurance with the majority of UK insurers. If you are regularly working at heights over 40 feet (12 metres), it will be important to pick a specific insurer that is ok with this.
If you are an offshore plumber please visit our page focused on offshore workers, for indications of underwriting guidelines for all policies that are detailed.
Our award winning advisers are here to give you peace of mind with the right life insurance policy, so that if the worst happens, your loved ones will be taken care of.
Plumbers & Critical Illness Cover
Critical illness cover pays out a cash lump sum of money, if you are diagnosed with a medical condition that is listed in the insurer’s claims set e.g. cancer, heart attack, stroke.
Critical illness cover for plumbers will also generally be available at normal terms with most insurance providers.
Being a plumber isn’t usually seen by insurers to be a huge risk for developing a critical illness. But if you are working at heights or outside of the UK, the insurer might want to know a bit more detail about your work for them to assess your application.
Our expert advisers are trained to find the critical illness policy that matches you and your needs, so that if you are diagnosed with a critical illness, you can focus upon you rather than worrying about money.
Plumbers & Income Protection
Income protection pays you a replacement of your monthly income, if you are unable to work due to ill health.
Income protection insurance for plumbers is available with quite a few insurers.
To assess your application for income protection the insurer will want to know if you have had any injuries in the last few years, especially if it stopped you working. Your health can influence the income protection that will be available to you.
Protecting your income is one of the most important things that you can do to protect your financial future and our award winning advisers are here to sort it for you.
