Recently I won a free private health check from the insurer British Friendly. I took part in a Christmas competition and was incredibly happy to win this.

If I could I would have yearly health checks for me and my boys!

A nurse came to my place of work and did the health check in private and I got some surprising results. She was lovely, made me feel completely at ease and would have come my home to do the tests if I had wanted her to.

Being within insurance I know that some people can wonder what a nurse’s screen involves. I was so pleased that British Friendly agreed to record the meeting so that we can demystify what happens at these things.
